Download this episode (50 min)
This contest requires hard work on your part. You are going to knit a scarf for the Orphan Foundation of America’s Red Scarf Project. This is the brainchild of normaknits
and you can read all about the cause, the organization, and the details here:

http://nownormaknits2.typepad.com/red_scarf_project_2008/

After you knit the scarf, then what?

You need to take a picture of your scarf, the gift card you are to send, and the tag/note you will send with the scarf and post it on Ravelry on the stickied post labeled Red Scarf Contest Entries.

What will the winner recieve? Glad you asked! In keeping with the theme of red………….a $25 gift certificate from me to The Loopy Ewe. www.theloopyewe.com

When does the contest end? Scarves need to be mailed between September 1 and October 15, 2008. The contest will end at midnight on October 15, 2008. I will lock the thread that the entries are in and then draw a random winner from all of those and post it on a podcast the weekend of October 18th.

Not on Ravelry? Send me your picture to knitnaturally@yahoo.com

Are you excited? I am!! What are you waiting for? Cast on!

Hey Dawn,

Just want to thank you for taking the time and linking all these lovely patterns for us! Every time I listen to your pod cast, I get excited about starting a new project and spend way too much time on Ravelry day-dreaming. Thanks for keeping us company every week (or so)!
